Daniel Mettler, born in 1972, he worked apart from his studies in philosophy and economics from 1998-2002 at the "Swiss foundation for Environmental Activity" as a dry stone waller in construction and training. He followed further studies in the topic of ecology at the University of Berne and is actually active in the ranges of policy evaluation and agricultural consultation . As a dry stone waller he is a member of Stoneline since two years. Beside the practical walling he was working in the range about geology and dry stone walling in the elaboration of training documents.
